Sandra McIntosh offers internships to Canadian youth and young adults who are wanting to experience missions first hand and truly have a life changing experience that will either bring them back to South East Asia long term or, cause them to lead with a global mindset in Canada. Sandra offers one on one mentoring, or she can recommend another missionary family should you desire to be in a surrounding country. If you work through Sandra you will be working through NightLight and likely have an opportunity to travel one of the nations in the Region as she travels frequently.

Purpose

To provide a meaningful cross-cultural mentorship program for missions majors that will assist in facilitating a future long term missionary assignment.

The Program will include the following:

Practical

a. One on one mentoring with a missionary on a weekly basis. NightLight

You would work 9-5 Mon-Friday at NightLight as well as partcipate in outreach in bars if you are a female. Your activities would depend on your skill set.

b. Language learning for one month 9-12 Monday-Friday

b. Hands on practical missionary experience in one or more of the following areas:

1. Teaching English
2. NightLight – ministry to exploited women and children.
3. Orphanages

c. Housing as available with a missionary family or apartment.

d. Travel to surrounding nations

Cost:

$4000.00 approx. plus an opportunty to travel to a surrounding nation - cost depends on nation.
